Conwy LL32Full-time, PermanentThe CompanyFuture Geoscience Ltd (FGL) is a joint venture company between PetroStrat Ltd and Hafren Scientific Ltd (including Chemostrat and Origin Analytical) to undertake high quality multidisciplinary workflows, integrated wellsite solutions, integrated reservoir quality studies and regional studies and to provide a one-stop shop for stratigraphic and related reservoir solutions.The primary aim of the joint venture is to bring complementary stratigraphic disciplines together to develop tailored and targeted stratigraphic solutions to the oil and gas industryFuture Geoscience combines the resources, analytical facilities and technical backgrounds of world leading stratigraphy companies PetroStrat and Chemostrat to unlock world class stratigraphic solutions.Primary ResponsibilitiesGather and analyse geological data, provide geological inputs, manage projects, build and maintain models and develop integration workflows in the geological understanding of the reservoirs.Complete your own technical interpretation, integration and reports and manage technical delivery from subcontractors’ teams .Strong knowledge of stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, sedimentology and chemostratigraphy and multidisciplinary integration ideally in data visualisation software, GIS, Spotfire, etc.In conjunction with the General Manager, you will perform all tasks necessary to achieve the annual sales budgets and forecasts.To supervise the work of geologists in the FGL team and subcontractors.Manage, delivery, technical quality of geological reports undertaken by geologists.Input into Business Development and direction of Proprietary and MC technical services.Input to the FGL R&D; of stratigraphic and sedimentological development and of FGL technical services.RequirementsMaster of Sciences (Geology), or equivalent.At least ten (10) years working experience in the oil industry with at least seven (7) years of experience working as a Geoscientist / Geologist.Good interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to communicate and exchange technical opinions with other staff both internally and externally.A through and methodical approach to geological problem solving.Ability to work in a team, a highly motivated self-starter, evidence of self-sufficiency and self-assurance, ability to take responsibility for important decisionsBenefitsAnnual salary is based upon FGL remuneration scales, with a weighting for local living costs.FGL Bonus scheme.FGL company pension scheme.Fun working atmosphere.Long-term career prospects.Next StepsTo apply to our vacancy for a Senior Geologist, please click on Apply to upload your CV for consideration.We look forward to hearing from you.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentExperience:Geological Project: 10 years (Required)Education:Master's (Required)
