Accountabilities

Senior Reservoir Geologist working on our clients field within an asset team.
This person will be the Reservoir Geologist Referent for the Asset.

Job Dimensions
Participation with large autonomy in integrated reservoir engineering studies or reservoir mono-disciplinary studies, under the responsibility of the Asset Team Lead (RM or OME) or Asset Manager, and active follow-up and animation of the reservoir aspects of the studies, to understand and represent the production mechanisms involved.
Studies are to be carried out as per existing Opportunity Maturation Process (OMP).
Without supervised staff.
Field Stakes

One of the largest offshore oil fields in the world & main oil contributor to Qatar’s production: 300 kbopd of oil and 500 kbwpd of water
The injection: 1000 Kbwpd of water injection and 100 Mscfd of gas injection
Each reservoir needs to be modeled (static and dynamic models) and sector models will be used to prepare the validation of the new development wells and work-over opportunities.
Appraisal activities for future development plans must be developed and matured.
In charge of annually updating the 1P & 2P STOOIP’s for X reservoir.
Technical input for development strategy to prepare Phase I, II & III developments.

Qualifications
More than 10 years of experience required
Previous experience on carbonate reservoirs is required
International experience is recommended
Must hold an BSc or higher in Geology
Must have worked on target selection with deep understanding on reservoir modeling.
Proven and significant exposure to carbonate reservoirs
Fluent with Petrel
Significant exposure to reservoir modeling in carbonates
Excellent English both spoken and written
Very good communication skills
Team player
