Lead and conduct geological and geophysical studies at prospect and regional levels using well, seismic, surface and potential field data
Generate well correlations, sequence stratigraphic frameworks, sedimentological models and geo-seismic sections
Conduct Post Drill Analysis and CRS mapping in Player software
Assess reservoir potential, depositional environment and sequence stratigraphic setting from LWD, wireline and mudlog data
Provide geological and geophysical input to basin analysis, prospectivity studies, seismic programs, well proposals, drilling documents, post-well analyses and reservoir studies
Perform autonomous seismic mapping and independent prospect evaluation including volumes and risk assessment and present in Peer Reviews and external stakeholder meetings
Educate and mentor staff within the team, conduct in-house training
Lead and steer workshops, peer reviews and Technical Committee Meetings (TCMs) with joint venture partners
University Masters in Geoscience or equivalent
Over 8 years relevant industry experience
Extensive experience in multiple countries, basins, and geological environments.
Experienced in multiple geological sub-disciplines, including structural geology, sequence stratigraphy, petrophysics, geochemistry, basin modelling, reservoir characterisation and/or seal analysis.
Experienced user of modern 2D/3D geoscience workstations, preferably using Petrel software and Player software.
Advanced understanding of drilling and testing/production operations, wireline log data and formation evaluation
