Development and production Brazil (DPB) is responsible for the company’s operations and business development in Brazil. DPBs ambition is to develop safe and sustainable value growth in Brazil, shaping the future of energy and bringing progress for society. Equinor has been present in Brazil since 2001 and is located with head office in Rio de Janeiro. The company has a diverse portfolio with activities at all stages including: - Exploration licenses (Campos, Espirito Santo and Santos basin), - Operated producing asset: Peregrino field (Campos Basin), that is our largest operated international offshore operation; - Partner operated licenses: Roncador field (Campos Basin) in partnership with Petrobras - Project Development: BM-C-33 (Campos Basin) and Carcará (Pre-salt development in Santos basin) - Renewable energy: Apodi solar project in partnership with Scatec Solar (which is under construction in the Ceará state)
The selected person will be part of the Peregrino Phase 2 team. The tasks will be related to both Phase 1 and 2.
Work independently and in teams with drainage strategy, reservoir modelling and history matching.Identification and maturation of well targets, planning of wells and operational follow-up.Work closely with geologist and geophysicists to improve dynamic reservoir models. Work with PVT and SCAL data as required, follow up studies. Hands-on production prognosis and reporting. Deliver uncertainty analysis and have good understanding of subsurface risk. Work with feasibility/concept selection type reservoir analysis and IOR work.Be active in implementation and utilization of new technology and methodsGood communication and collaboration with other groups.Comply with governing documents.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within reservoir technology. Hands-on experience with reservoir modelling and simulation tools: Eclipse or similar software, preferably having skills with Petrel, RMS and post processing/graphical software. Knowledge of Python and automation is an advantage. Strong digital skillsExperience from fields in operationProven delivery in previous jobs.Value chain understandingCommercial mindset Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
