Senior Engineer - Production Management Systems
In Field Performance we monitor condition and optimize performance of oil and gas fields in operation. Building on our combined capabilities within multiphase flow and equipment integrity, we provide digitalized services to safely optimize production volumes and production uptime. Due to a steadily increasing installed base of our solutions, and continuous development of our services, we seek to strengthen our skilled and dynamic team.

The Field Performance Service team supports online real time systems for Metering, Flow Assurance and Condition and Performance Monitoring.
Our team is part of Field Performance department within the Subsea division of TechnipFMC, located in modern offices at Lysaker Norway.

Responsibilities

Actively follow up the performance of fields in operation with respect to production and flow assurance, with focus on giving actionable advice for Production Management

Main Tasks

Actively follow up and maintain online Virtual Metering with focus on giving advice for Production Management
Actively follow up and maintain online Flow Assurance Systems and Pipeline Monitoring systems, with focus on giving advice related to operability
Regular interaction with customers
Contribute in Field development studies, by performing simulations optimising field architecture with respect to oil recovery, cost and operability
Technical lead in studies for new and existing customers de-bottlenecking the entire subsea infrastructure
Support development of new functionality in our online systems
Technical lead in projects for configuration, testing and commissioning of our online systems

Requirements

You are a perfect fit if you

Have experience in petroleum engineering and multiphase flow modelling systems.
Are passionate about production optimisation and troubleshooting using high performance simulation software and on-line systems
Have work experience within operation of oil & gas fields, preferably from an E&P company (operator)
Are knowledgeable within use of multiphase flow modelling tools
Are a dedicated team player and individual with a sense of pride in your work
Have a Master of Science degree typically within petroleum engineering, fluid mechanics, applied mathematics, or Physics

Graduates or other relevant experience may be considered for more junior positions within the same department
