We are currelntly looking for a Senior Development Geologist to join Our client's tema in Stavanger

Works independently, with input from more senior geoscientists in the companyExhibits strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skillsPerforms reservoir characterization and modelling work, providing input to development, infill drilling opportunities and well planning.Independently incorporates petrography, biostratigraphy, log character analysis and seismic data to develop interpretation of depositional environment,
reservoir quality and facies distributions
In collaboration with multi-disciplinary subsurface group, steers the study of reservoir parameters uncertainty and quantification of its associated risks
over field drainage strategy.
Involved in generating and recommending opportunities for further field development to managementProficient in 3D seismic interpretation techniques and integration into reservoir modelling workflow. Good knowledge of seismic attribute extraction methods
and quantitative seismic interpretation, with special focus on conditioning of reservoir properties and architecture and recommendations for future development.
Experienced in the well delivery process, working alongside drilling, completion and production engineers to optimise well design and trajectory and maximise
return on investment at the lowest risk.
Participates in peer-based risk and resource estimation processes; ensures such processes are adhered to in conducting his/her evaluations; seeks input from
peers to ensure technical high quality is achieved in evaluations
Contributes to further development of the geoscience community in the company, through experience sharing and peer assists
Experience & Qualifications
Master’s degree in GeologyMinimum ten years of experience with major NCS operator as development or production geologistStrong technical background in Reservoir characterisationExtensive reservoir modelling experience, preferably with Petrel
