Role Summary:

Acoustic Scientist / Petrophysicist – Wireline Acoustics R&D; Group

Essential Responsibilities:
Experience with borehole acoustic and/or ultrasonic
measurements/methods used in open and cased hole wells in the Oil & Gas
industry
Development of downhole sensors and systems
Analysis and interpretation of field and lab data
Development of interpretation algorithms and processing
methodology
Qualifications/Requirements:
BS in Engineering or Physics + 10 yrs industry experience
MS or PHD +5 yrs industry experience
Desired Characteristics:
Industry experience working with field data
Knowledge and experience working with cased-hole ultrasonic measurements
Knowledge and experience working with the analysis and processing of ultrasonic measurements
Experience with the development and testing of downhole sensors
