About the role The Corporate Resource Reserves Analyst executes substantially complex and varied tasks in support of the Corporate Resource Reporting team. This position is responsible for assisting the Resource Reporting team with all aspects of the reserve reports and to work as a resource to the asset teams for enhanced business surveillance. This position is expected to handle a variety of complex issues and work functions and to work in a collaborative environment to help drive value for the business. This position is accountable for ensuring accuracy and completeness of all data through scientific knowledge and application.
About You You enjoy initiating new ideas and methods and proactive anticipate problems and drive solutions. You have the aptitude to translate complex specification into effective analysis or reports and are a forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and solutions. You are motivated, performance driven, accountable, and collaborative.
What we are looking for You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an upstream oil and gas organization building and evaluating data analytics tools to support reserves and development functions. You have assisted in the preparation of internal reserve reports and have coordinated reserve booking activity and are seasoned in coordinating with asset and financial teams to assure accurate information and data quality. ARIES, MS Access, and PowerBI (or similar) are applications you are advanced in and you care capable of building data analytics dashboards.
