BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY
The Reservoir Technologist assists with reservoir engineering duties, project economic evaluations, reserves bookings, business performance analysis and reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Develops skill and judgment to solve routine problems under direct supervision.
EDUCATION
Associate's degree in technology or other related field

EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in providing technical support to the reservoir engineering team in reserves analysis and reserves bookings, well and reservoir performance analysis and forecasting, project economic evaluations, and business performance analysis
Gather internal and external data
Maintain, update, and organize technical databases and files systems
Assist in the building and maintenance of economic evaluations
Provide support in the analysis and reporting on the business performance of the business unit and the performance of the assets in the business unit
Monitor and report on key performance indicators, develop summary reports, charts and presentations
Support development and updating of the annual budget and periodic business performance projections
Assist with presentation preparation

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Oil and Gas Industry Experience Preferred
Practice safe work habits at all times
Demonstrate commitment to Devon Attributes
Advanced Level computer skills, including database management and use of Microsoft Excel
Able to work independently, to prioritize projects and make progress on multiple priorities concurrently
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work within a multi disciplinary team to achieve project related goals
Technical experience with PEEP, Petra, Harmony, Spotfire, Data Meer and Power BI preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
