WSP is currently initiating a search for a Reservoir Storage Intern for our Houston, Texas office. Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist experienced engineers in a broad range of routine engineering functions related to reservoir storage assets and operations • Perform detailed storage engineering calculations, such as inventory volumetrics and well test analysis • Research and compile information on domestic reservoir storage infrastructure and operators • Write and review technical reports and other documentation • Assist with field work as needed • Other duties as assigned Talent is the essence of meeting our client’s objectives, goals and challenges. Current standing as an Undergraduate or Graduate student actively enrolled in an ABET accredited Petroleum Engineering program
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.
Prior internship experience in the oil and gas industry
The ability to perform both independently and in a team environment in various business settings
A detail-oriented work approach with a high level of energy, enthusiasm and proactivity
Basic understanding of the fundamentals of underground gas storage
