This is a unique opportunity to join Supply Planning & Finance team based in Brisbane. Reporting directly to the Integrated Planning Manager of Integrated Gas, you’ll be part of the Long Term Planning team responsible providing accurate, timely and transparent production forecasts to create insights into value-added opportunities for improved performance within Asset teams and across Integrated gas. Your role will ensure changes to the quarterly portfolio production forecast are understood and communicated and mitigations are explored and reflected in the long term forecast update. This is your chance to work in collaboration with reservoir and development engineers, asset services and supply, finance and planning to ensure the success of the whole of the Integrated Gas division.
Your responsibilities will include;
Delivery of the quarterly supply forecast updates (including annual UDP supply forecast)
Driving functional standardization, consistency and continuous improvement of quarterly forecast process & communication (striving for best practice)
Assessing, reporting and communicating value insights across IG as they relate to supply.
Developing portfolio level supply mitigations, working in close collaboration with asset and asset services teams. Recognise leading indicators of forecast deviations (including understanding risks and opportunities from a DP point of view)
Presentation of portfolio production forecast at TCM and providing rich insights as part of the quarterly supply forecast to Shareholders and internal Operating and Non-Operating asset teams.
Maturing advanced integrated planning frameworks and processes including forecasting, economic evaluation, risk management, constraint management, and work management processes and interfaces to support the Upstream Asset portfolio

You’ll need to be collaborative, analytical and commercially minded with the ability to drive solutions and ensure delivery of complex tasks over a wide variety of production issues with minimal supervision. You will have excellent communication, influencing and problem solving skills and high-level thinker have the ability to see the big picture and drive change.
To be considered you will have;
Extensive experience in upstream oil and gas with modelling capability or strong appreciation of production forecasting and analysis
A deep understanding of production forecasting within upstream oil & gas in Australia, CSG preferable
Experienced in Upstream oil and gas forecasting (deterministic and probabilistic) and keen ability to learn Enersight and Palantir modelling tools
Formal tertiary qualification, preferably subsurface engineering but not essential
Analysis of production data with view for detailed and portfolio level insights and opportunities to deliver value
Demonstrated deep technical and commercial curiosity
Strong appreciation of risk and uncertainty
