Our Client looking for the services of personnel to join their organization as:

TITLE: Reservoir Monitoring Engineer

LOCATION: ABU DHABI, UAE (Prefered local candidates from UAE)

EXPERIENCE: 0 to 2 Years

TYPE: PERMANENT

JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Minimum requirements:-

Education:- Bachelor Degree (in petroleum engineering or equivalent).

Experience: 0- 2 year, with minimum an internship in industry sector

Geographic mobility: Up to 10 - 15 % of offshore work (day trip and/or overnight stay)

Computer literacy: MS office & general proficiency in IT tools.

Knowledge of reservoir and petroleum engineering software is a bonus

RESERVOIR MONITORING:-

· Help create well inventory and prepare Action list for water shut-off, re-perf, side-tr, prod/inj conversion, stim etc.

· Help assess feasibility and economic benefits of the above list with DGD/DO Depts.

· Help maintain MBAL, PROSPER, GAP models as necessary and ensure compatibility with DGD-RD.

· Help in monthly reviews of Action Plan status.

· Assist as directed by the Reservoir Monitoring Team Leader to:-

o Allocate production and injection

o Takes into account MAP/MAI on constrained well potential

o Identify and follow-up anomalous well behavior and promote remedial actions.

o Optimize well performance in conjunction with Well Performance Team

o Propose cross-flow prevention programs and write post-mortem reports

o Monitor efficiency of gas usage in terms of gas lift vs tertiary gas injection

o Identify inefficiencies of water-flooding and to promote remedial actions

o Contribute to annual budget (IB) and regular interim budget forecasting (PdC)

o Provide partners with quarterly production forecasts

o Provide monthly KPI reports

· Attend all relevant DGD HSE Courses

· Contribute to the safety of operations for DGD onshore and offshore.

· HSE Duty Officer if required.

DATA ACQUISITION

· Assist as directed by the Reservoir Monitoring Team Leader to:-

o Gather information regarding requirements for field data acquisition.

o Synthesize data acquisition needs, prioritize and establish clear objectives.

o Establish with Ops feasibility, costs and planning to obtain data through SORs, WSRs

o Generate an annual Reservoir Monitoring Plan (RMP) approved by DGD, DO and GM.

o Provide a clear tracking system to follow compliance of RMP. Monthly review.

o Supervise well data acquisition and surveillance programs.

o Provide interpretations of results arising from data acquisition programs within 1 month of obtaining data and propose

recommendations and follow-up with DO.

o Guarantee pertinence, reliability and quality of data and dynamic measurements acquired

o Contribute to the drilling/work-over rig program planning exercises.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

· Assist in preparation of bi-annual technical presentations and workshops with partners..

· Help select and supervise contracted services and provide quality reviews.

· Help ensure all CMS policies are kept up to date.

· Ensure Memos and Reports are archived and DGD-R drive kept tidy.

· High-Profile, strategically important operation: Only field in Abu Dhabi operated by an IOC.

· Image of important (safety, performance & management).

Technical benchmark for other UAE fields.

· Key Technologies: EOR, Multi-lateral wells, Gas Lift, Well/Reservoir Mgt, maximizing recovery factor

Accountability:

· To support all reservoir monitoring activities as defined by the Reservoir Monitoring Team Leader

· Guarantee pertinence, reliability and quality of data, dynamic measurements and resultant interpretations

· Guarantee compliance with professional area codes of practice

· Contribute to the safety of operations for DGD onshore and offshore
