BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY
The Eng  Reservoir Manager oversees all reservoir activities for a functional area. Provides planning, supervision, and documentation for new and existing reservoir activities. Accomplishes goals through partnership with the asset team, supervision, and proactive leadership of the operations department staff and recommendations to the division leadership.

 

EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in engineering (petroleum, chemical, mechanical, or civil)

 

EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible related industry experience

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, identify, and incorporate industry leading technology and innovation into reservoir characterization and modeling
• Manage a team and provide all aspects of performance management and development
• Coordinate efforts in conducting integrated reservoir characterization studies, including building static and flowing reservoir models to predict future performance of some of the Company’s more significant upstream assets under various development scenarios to maximize their value
• Oversee supervisors and their teams in consulting and working with various asset teams within the Company’s business units as they develop reservoir models and move their assets through the value chain
• Lead team in developing and maintaining reservoir characterization competency throughout the organization
• Oversee the documentation of key unconventional play parameters and workflows that will assist Business Unit teams with making informed decisions regarding sweet spot locations and drilling and completing best practices

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• Oil and Gas Industry Experience Preferred
