We are looking for experienced and highly engaged individuals to fill the Reservoir Team Leader role within our Permian EOR Business Unit. This role reports to the Asset Manager. The successful candidate will drive maximum value from CO2 and water floods through best-in-class reservoir management and total cost leadership.

The Reservoir Team Leader supervises a multi-disciplinary team of engineers (reservoir, production, facilities) and geoscientists that focuses on production optimization and development activities in assigned areas. Responsible for managing development project inventory, generating and maturing new development projects and executing approved projects. Manages overall reservoir model and life of field plan. Oversees the reserves determination process for assigned area.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Geoscience discipline.A minimum of 7 years of industry experience as a technical advisor.Strong understanding of geologic, engineering and operating principles.Demonstrated ability to perform economic evaluation of wide variety of projects.Prior experience in waterfloods and/or CO2 floods is a plus.Understands business process and regulatory requirements.Working knowledge of reserves and business plan development.Exposure to completion, workover, drilling and field operations.General knowledge of artificial lift types, applications, design criteria and options.Ability to develop others professional and technical skills through performance management (i.e. goal setting, coaching/feedback, training/development).Project management skills with ability to advise and lead team members on aspects of project management, prioritizing and bringing to completion multiple concurrent projects.Problem solving skills with ability to analyze and recommend solutions on problems of high complexity.Demonstrated ability to drive results in self and others.Demonstrates Oxy’s core values of Integrity, Creativity/Innovation and Empowerment/Collaboration.
