The key objective of the Reservoir Management Manager is to optimize reservoir performance through a systematic application of integrated, multidisciplinary technologies. The Reservoir Management Manager approaches reservoir operation and control as a system, rather than as a set of disconnected functions. As such, the Reservoir Management Manager sets out a strategy for applying multiple technologies in an optimal way to achieve synergy. The ultimate objective is to set a strong base for a sustainable production level for the coming 20 years and to be prepared from opportunities coming from Appraisal, EOR/IOR and Exploration projects.
Tasks & responsibilities:
Identify projects, studies and programs to ensure a prudent and sustainable development and recovery of reservoirs to guarantee a sustainable production;
Fullfil the center role for all programs, studies and projects in the Production Asset regarding Integrated Reservoir Management;
Assess all the requests for projects and will ensure that the projects, studies and the budgets are alignment with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization;
Monitor the efficient coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the projects and maintains standards and monitors scope with project quality;
Assign the projects coordinators and the specialists that must support the project teams;
Provide project management supervision and guidance during preparation and execution of projects;
Monitor of quality & compliance with regulatory requirements, company directives and Industry Standards;
Manage the quality of the individual project deliverables, milestones, targets and budget;
Responsible for the overall performance of the Reservoir Management division and the reporting of the KPI’s;
Responsible for the setup and realization annual budget;
Identify technologies, methodologies, techniques that must improve the overall performance of the various processes of integrated Reservoir management;
Responsible to provide advice to the Production Asset Manager regarding strategic matters;
Responsible for the overall development of the geo-science staff;
Report and escalate issues to the Production Asset Manager if needed.
Requirements Reservoir Management Manager
Technical excellence in all aspects of Integrated Reservoir Management;
Significant and recent experience with Integrated Reservoir Management methodologies; Experience with working in a multi-cultural, multidisciplinary environment;
Computer proficiency in word processing, excel spread sheet and geo-technical application software;
Excellent command of the English language, written and spoken;
Competences: conceptual and critical thinking, problem solving, excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities, analytical and strong organizational skills, stress resistant, flexible and high level of adaptability, communication and leadership skills, persuasive, team player, self-starter, judgment and decision making ability regarding both technical and personnel matters.
