Job Summary

Possess experience and skills listed to provide vision, leadership, and engineering support to achieve or exceed corporate goals and maximize shareholder value. Ability to work alongside the members of the Resource Development team, individually, as well as in a multi-disciplined team is critical. Candidates should be proficient in all areas of Reservoir Engineering including performance analysis, risk analysis, well test, volumetric reserve estimation, well and project economics as well as have prior operations experience.

Duties/Responsibilities
Provides leadership support to reservoir engineering team and technicians to plan and execute optimized development programs as well as step out/exploration projects
Perform reserve and economic evaluations of drilling and completion, recompletion, and workovers and make recommendations to management
Generates risked economics for screening and ranking prospects.
Works with Geology to incorporate reservoir parameters into OIP, economic calculations, and development strategies.
Works closely with Geology, Land, Operations, Regulatory, etc. to prepare annual drilling plan, capital budget, and approvals to company executives
Semi-annually performs SEC reserve evaluation on company assets with emphasis on properly valuing assigned assets
Work with closely with Production on reservoir management strategies
Develops exhibits and provides expert testimony at regulatory hearings supporting company projects.
Develops and keeps current type curves economics for various areas or plays.
Model and determine optimal well density, completion design, and well performance for multi-well units
Works closely with Business Development to provide engineering support through evaluations and recommendations on potential acquisitions and divestitures.
Works closely with Outside Operated to share learnings.
Works closely with Investor Relations to provide support with quarterly messaging
Forecasts production for capacity design of gathering lines, compressor stations and processing plants.
Works with and reviews capital, LOE, and other expenses with operations.
Develops and mentors of less experienced and inexperienced individuals as well as interns to the Resource Development team.
Identifies development & training opportunities for engineers
Develops new engineers to Resource Development Group
Identifies and seeks out opportunities to streamline or optimize processes
Performs and reviews lookbacks quarterly/as needed for wells in area of responsibility to inform team/management if we are meeting our targets

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.
15+ years of experience with 10 years in Reservoir Engineering
Good working knowledge of industry economic software required (Aries preferred)
Modeling experience with any of the following software Harmony, Kappa/Ecrin, CMG
Experience in using production curve analysis (Arps) to forecast reserve recoveries from reservoirs
Knowledge of SEC reserve reporting guidelines and able to quantify PUD, POSS, and PROB reserves
Ability to manage multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines
Ability to proficiently utilize technical and administrative personnel resources
Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test

Position will be located in Oklahoma City.
