Key Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will need to be able to demonstrate Leadership and project management skills and will need to be able to demonstrate innovative solutions to Client’s needs (internal and external).
Become a member of the GeoConsulting Americas Management Team.
Build, develop and manage a strategy for an RH business honoring the existing GeoConsulting Americas strategy, vision and mission.
Develop new business, manage, plan and execute projects, primarily (although not restricted) in the key disciplines of seismic reservoir characterization and advanced petrophysics.
Provide leadership and direction to individual staff within the team.
Provide excellent project management skills.
Apply principles of financial and resource management in budgeting and contract negotiations to provide consistent Group profitability.
Give ‘cutting edge’ presentations at conferences or in client offices and to manage and facilitate client meetings.
Provide expert advice to senior management.
Be responsible for Quality and HSE for the RH Team.
Actively promote effective interpersonal relationships at senior levels both internally and externally to develop new business.
Act as an industry recognised expert in seismic reservoir characterization and advanced petrophysics and be able to provide an understanding of other relevant disciplines where required
Have full, up to date technical knowledge and awareness and the ability to develop new technologies especially around the subject of Big Data Analytics .
Identify, lead, manage and participate in integrated, multi-disciplinary projects drawing on the skills sets of the team, GeoConsulting Americas and GeoConsulting as a whole.
Largely office based, there will be involvement in client contact for project related work and promotional reasons, which will result in travel within the Lower 48, Latin & South America.
Offer authoritative advice and guidance to clients and colleagues in a stand-alone capacity.
Be on the look-out for new innovative & entrepreneurial ways to generate a profit.
Identify and recruit differentiating talent in line with market forces and business growth.
Required Education & Experience:
Minimum Earth Sciences BSc.
10+ years industry experience with a strong focus on the North & Latin America region.
Ability to demonstrate management of staff is essential.
Familiarity with CGG reservoir characterization and industry standard software and good database/IT skills.
Willingness to travel is essential.
