Our client is partnering with a company holding an exclusive, worldwide technology licensing agreement for the development and commercialization of a new patented technology for a compact catalytic combustor targeted to meet the needs of downhole injection for heavy oil production.
JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for using Accumap to develop plans for the analysis and use of a new
downhole tool for heavy oil recovery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and present a report about the analysis and use of a new downhole tool to partners in the
project, the SRC, and related boards.
Develop the tool concept, analysis, and strategies.
Create market, economic, and risk assessment.
Complete model development including field/pool optimization.
Expert Accumap user
5-10 years of reservoir/exploitation experience, preferably with medium to large scale oil companies
Excellent communication skills suitable for report writing and business presentations
Keen business accumen prepared for presenting proposals and practiced at dealing with concerns
Skilled in thermal reservoir engineering with hands-on operation experience
Experience working with ARC or SRC in thermal projects or new technology
Requires little supervision
Assertive and candid about expressing opinions and raising flags
Diversified oil/gas background with skills in other disciplines such as production engineering (would be an asset)
