Job description  
Provide reservoir surveillance data management leading the effort to optimize field production.  Provide allocations of production by well as input to satisfy regulatory requirements.
 
Key responsibilities

Data management and data integrity QC
Consolidate pre-existing reservoir engineering datasets into a queriable database structure
Database design, maintenance, and stewardship
Maintain existing Oracle databases

Ensure correct population of daily production numbers
Confirm daily hours of production by well
QC monthly production, injection & well test data; Generate S-Forms

Work and maintain PI/EC data

Ensuring well tests have been completed for all producing wells
Work with global support to troubleshoot EC issues
Set up new wells for PI / EC data tag readiness

Provide Hibernia and OFM monthly updates (QC after each update)
Develop database queries to support the EMCE reservoir group

Automating capture and storage of key reservoir data (ie. pressures during shut-ins)

Ensure compliance with EMCE’s Safety, Health and Environment System in support of safe, efficient operations including OIMs

Experience and qualifications
Bsc in Computer Science  or Diploma of Computer Systems and Networking 
Experience with Oracle database management - SQL experience required
Demonstrated database creation and management skills 
Competency in large dataset manipulation (multisheet, multifile) using Excel VBA 
Knowledge of and proficiency in entering required information into SAP, OFM and PI / EC
Strong analytical and organization skills
Ability to interact with personnel across multifunctional groups
Knowledge of and proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
