We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Reservoir Engineering Technician. The successful candidate will have a background in creating presentations, is detailed oriented, and is highly skilled in database management (Aries). As Reservoir Engineering Technician, you will support engineering, geology, and management staff on economic evaluation of properties for exploration and development, production and completion optimization, acquisition and well maintenance records.

Specific Responsibilities:

Using Aries: construct single and multi-case economic runs, formulate cashflow and one lines in presentation format, utilize master table for ease of database management, convert PHDwin databases, clean up database to bank specs and perform quarter end reconciliations.
Co-create presentations illustrating acquisitions and divestures and support board meeting presentations.
Maintain spreadsheets and compile data as required.
Update databases using familiarity with HIS/TGS and Individual state production sources.
Facilitate mid-year and end of year reserve reviews with third party engineers.
Assist the COO/Engineering staff with scheduling appointments and managing workload.
Provide any additional support required by the geo-engineering-technical team.
Maintain production data for US and International assets
Maintain web files online/inhouse.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum 5+ years’ of experience as a Reservoir Engineering Technician.
A strong analytical and problem-solving skill set utilizing sound technical principles.
Extremely competent in numerous data base management programs with a high-level understanding of database structure and queries.
Highly proficient in Aries.
Proficient in Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Experience preparing and presenting presentations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
A team player willing to assist where needed with the ability to work personally, proactively and independently to achieve results and use thoughtful judgment.
Ability to adapt and anticipate solutions and opportunities for growth.
Adept at finding common ground and buy-in through proactive communication, trust building, and frequent engagement.
Ability to perform “open-ended” type tasks and is self-motivated
