A major oil and gas company in South East Asia is seeking for a professional having hands-on experience in Oil & Gas Resource Estimation, Classification and Definition, Reservoir and performance Analysis, Production Operation, and Principles of Reservoir Management
Develops technology strategy and roadmap and tracking of its implementation.
Proactively identifying technical requirements.
Being able to technically and motivationally lead, advice and mentor specialist teams in analyzing, interpreting and apply adequate reservoir engineering methodology and ensure that proper HSE requirement, quality control and assurance procedures are followed.
Being able to advice and discuss on advanced topic of fluid characterisation, rock characterization, reservoir performance, depletion strategy, FSP, EOR and reservoir modeling and able to conduct seminar and teach courses.
Develop/review/enhance technical capability, development tools, e.g. Technology Inventory & Ruler (TI&R;), Skill Inventory & Ruler (SI &R;) and Skill Development Matrix (SDM).
Networks with technical experts for continuous technical development and advancement.
Participates and shares knowledge of best practices within the industry and higher learning institutions.
Contributes at UTP and other higher learning institutions – adjunct lectureship, syllabus/curriculum review.
Capable to network with external party to acquire new technology for technology development and advancement.
Bachelor Degree level in Petroleum Engineering Discipline or Equivalent.
Following experience is required for the respecive roles:
Staff Reservoir Engineering - 15 years
Principal Reservoir Engineering - 20 years
Candidate is expected to have following knowledge/experience:
Oil & Gas Resource Estimation, Classification and Definition, Volumetric calculation, Estimation methods (probabilistic and deterministic approach)
Reservoir and performance Analysis.
Reservoir Management Principles and Practices
Skill in Well Performance & Prediction and ?Field Development Plan (FDP) will be an advantage.
Hands on Experience in fluid PVT analysis and rock properties analysis for input to dynamic modeling, and dynamic modeling experience would be an added value.
