The ideal Reservoir Engineering Manager candidate would have a total career experience level in the 8-15 year career range. This is a growth role – not a back-fill, but the result of increased activity at the company. This is a fast-paced entrepreneurial style environment so the client would prefer a candidate who has worked in a similar style company.For the Reservoir Engineering Manager role, our client is seeking an innovative and results-driven Reservoir Engineering professional specializing in the following:Experience in running a multi-rig development program along with directing well spacing/completion optimization.A development focused reservoir engineer who can implement and complete a projectSomeone who can lead the conversation and is assertiveEmphasis on thorough planning in order to minimize last minute changesStrong background with type curve generation is requiredExperience with well-level economics and decision/risk tree analysis is requiredStrong reserves background who can coordinate with 3rd party auditorsPrivate company experience dealing with the SEC would be highly desired.Conventional oil experienceA strong background in ARIESExperience working with Private Equity would be highly desiredClient needs this person to employ sound decision-making methods to complex projects, including economic analysis.RESPONSIBILITIES: Mentor and help develop less experienced Reservoir Engineers by providing guidanceDemonstrate ability to solve complex problems.Evaluate and monitor well performancesGenerate production well forecastsWork closely with other departmentsMust have strong knowledge of economic evaluation and financial metrics.Improve efficiency in data analysisExperience/Qualifications:Minimum education:Bachelor’s Degree required – Petroleum Engineering is requiredWell versed in economic modeling software (ARIES or similar)Experience utilizing information from multiple public data sourcesMinimum Qualifications: A minimum of 8 years of working as a reservoir engineer or in a team leader/management role for an independent E&P; company (Max of 15 years total career experience) Candidates with currently small company management experience would be preferred.The client is not interested in candidates who are currently consulting or working for a service company.At this point, the client is only considering candidates currently in Denver#IND123Job Type: Full-timeExperience:reservoir engineering: 9 years (Required)Reservoir Engineering Management: 2 years (Required)total oil and gas career: 10 years (Required)Education:Bachelor's (Required)Job Location:Denver, CO (Required)
