Thank you***********************************************************CSI Recruiting is working with an E&P; company located in Tulsa on their need for a potential Reservoir Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate would have a total career experience level in the 10-20 year career range. The position will report directly to the Vice President of Engineering. This is a growth role – not a back-fill, but the result of increased activity at the company. This is a fast-paced entrepreneurial style environment so the client would prefer a candidate who has worked in a similar style company.Our client is seeking an innovative and results-driven Reservoir Engineering professional specializing in the following:Experience in running a multi-rig development program along with directing well spacing/completion optimization.A development focused reservoir engineer who can implement and complete a projectSomeone who can lead the conversation and is assertiveExperience leading large development program is requiredOngoing five-year 4-8 rig development plan with consideration to the following items:Acreage delineationWell spacing optimizationCompletion optimizationPipeline and plant capacitiesOffset operationsCoordinate with functional teams to ensure Geoprogs, conservation orders, permits, and locations are ready well before the rig movesEmphasis on thorough planning in order to minimize last minute changes- Strong background with type curve generation is required- Experience with well-level economics and decision/risk tree analysis is required- Operational background is preferred- Experience with Aries is preferred- Working knowledge of multivariate analysis is idealUnconventional gas experience is required (MidCon, Permian, East Texas, They plan on adding multiple rigs later this year so the company is clearly in growth mode.Client needs this person to employ sound decision-making methods to complex projects, including economic analysis.Responsibilities: Mentor and help develop less experienced Reservoir Engineers by providing guidanceDemonstrate ability to solve complex problems.Evaluate and monitor well performancesGenerate production well forecastsWork closely with other departmentsMust have strong knowledge of economic evaluation and financial metrics.Improve efficiency in data analysisExperience/Qualifications: Extensive exposure to unconventional resources, ideally having worked in multiple resource playsMinimum education: Bachelor's Degree required - Petroleum Engineering is preferredWell versed in economic modeling software (ARIES or similar)Experience utilizing information from multiple public data sourcesMinimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum EngineeringA minimum of 9 years of working as a reservoir engineer for an independent E and P companyThis ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 20 years total career experience.(The client is not interested in candidates with a service company or consulting background)A strong background in ARIESThe client would prefer a local Oklahoma candidate but would relocate the right person.
