This role requires an in-depth understanding in the field of Reservoir Engineering and is for the leading Oil & Gas major of Malaysia
To provide reservoir engineering solutions and technical support while developing in house institutional Capability (IC) to the Resource Development Teams, FDP Delivery Section in the formulation of Area Development Plan (ADP), Field Development Review (FDR) and Post Drilling Review (PDR) via assets sub-surface and resource management departments under the appraisal, development and production phases of Life of Field (LOF).
Incumbent is also expected to conduct technical seminars and teach related courses.
Bachelor Degree level in Petroleum Engineering Discipline or Equivalent
Following experience is required for the respective positions:
Staff Reservoir Engineering - 15 years of experience & hands on in the last 5 years.
Principal Reservoir Engineering - 20 years of experience & hands on in the last 5 years.
The incumbent is expected to possess the below knowledge/experience:
Integrated Reservoir Characterization
Oil and Gas Resource Estimation
Depletion Strategy and Drive Mechanism
Subsurface development Planning and Execution
Integrated Field Development Planning
Numerical Simulation, Reservoir and well performance and development evaluation using Black Oil Simulator.
The following secondary skill will be an advantage:
Pressure Transient Analysis.
Petroleum Economics, Risk and Uncertainty Management.
Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR)
Integrated Reservoir Management Principles and Practices.
Has lead at least a small technical team before.
