We are currently looking for experienced, motivated, creative and entrepreneurial individuals to fill a Reservoir Engineering Consultant on our Subsurface Engineering team in Houston.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting field studies to identify opportunities to create value. The successful candidate will work with geoscientists constructing simulation models to support field development projects including IOR/EOR.

Responsibilities will include:

Analyze reservoir and performance data to develop a study plan
Integrate all relevant geoscience, petrophysical, and engineering data to build models
Upscale 3D geologic and geostatistical models as appropriate
Construct, history match, run predictive cases, optimize investment alternatives, and assist with the preparation of field development plans
Well test design and interpretation.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

MS in Engineering, PhD preferred
12 to 20 years of reservoir engineering/simulation experience (black oil; compositional, thermal would be a plus)
Proficiency in using commercially available software, such as Petrel, OFM, Kappa-SAPHIR, CMG, ECLIPSE and t-Navigator
Experience with IOR/EOR recovery processes
Ability to program in at least one language is a prerequisite
Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations
Excellent collaboration and presentation skills
