Job Title: Reservoir Engineering Advisor

Reports to: Reservoir Engineering Manager

Job Description

Summary of Position
Seeking reservoir engineering advisor with extensive technical and practical reservoir engineering
experience. This candidate should have the following demonstrated skills/experience; rock and fluid
properties, unconventional reservoirs, rate-transient analysis. This position requires experience with
coordinating, completing and reviewing company reserve reports, forecasting, type-curve development,
economic evaluations, and business development.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in mentoring of less experienced engineers
Support / participate in mid-year and year-end reserve processes, type-curve development, PDP
forecasting
Perform economic evaluations of trades and bolt-on acquisitions as requested / needed
Preparation of and/or review of COGCC technical testimony
Assist in non-op well evaluations and summaries for board meetings
Evaluate well spacing and impacts on EUR’s using empirical data and RTA
Participate in subsurface reviews on new development areas
Fill in for other engineers and reservoir manager during absences

Job Qualifications
B.S. degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical or Geological Engineering
Proficient software skills in Aries, Spotfire, RTA
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and business acumen
Ability to thrive in both an independent and collaborative work environment and have exceptional skills in
managing multiple demands, including prioritizing deadlines
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Mentoring skills a plus
Minimum 20 years of experience in oil and gas industry
DJ Basin experience preferred
Unconventional horizontal experience required
