We are currently looking for experienced, motivated, creative and entrepreneurial individuals to fill a Reservoir Engineering Senior Advisor on our Subsurface Engineering team in Houston.
Conducting field studies to identify opportunities to create value. The successful candidate will work with geoscientists constructing simulation models to support field development projects including thermal IOR/EOR.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Analyze reservoir and performance data to develop a study planIntegrate all relevant geoscience, petrophysical, and engineering data to build modelsUpscale 3D geologic and geostatistical models as appropriateConstruct, history match, run predictive cases, optimize investment alternative, and assist with preparation of field development plansMentoring of less experienced staffSupport Data Analytics Initiatives.Support Reserves Process.Capable to construct Steam Optimization Tools.
MS in Engineering, PhD preferredExperience with IOR/EOR recovery processes, especially steamflood and cyclic steam injection15 years of experience in reservoir simulation with at least 10 years experience in Thermal simulation.Ability to history match large thermal simulation modelsProficiency in using commercially available simulation software, such as CMG, ECLIPSE, and t-NavigatorExperienced in using Petrel for upscaling models and pre and post processing of simulation resultsAbility to program in at least one language is a prerequisiteAbility to make technically and economically sound recommendationsDemonstrated ability to function in the team environmentExcellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to write technical reports
