This is a technical Reservoir Engineering Team Lead position for Eagle Ford Asset. The position reports to US Onshore Well Performance Leader. Prospective candidates must be highly skilled from a technical standpoint with experience working in onshore US resource plays. In addition to an exceptional technical skillset we are looking for engineers with some leadership experience and desire.

Mentor and help develop less experienced Reservoir Engineers by providing guidance

Demonstrate ability to solve complex problems

Evaluate and monitor well performances

Generate production well forecasts

Work closely with other departments

Must have strong knowledge of economic evaluation and financial metrics

Improve efficiency in data analysis

Extensive exposure to unconventional resources, ideally having worked in Eagle Ford asset

Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree required - Petroleum Engineering is preferred

Spotfire experience required. Some other data analytics is preferred

Well versed in economic modeling software (ARIES or similar)

Experience utilizing information from multiple public data sources

Experience with reservoir engineering tools such as Fekete, KAPPA Suite

Experience with probabilistic and risk analysis tools

This position requires excellent communication skills. This includes internal with management and technical positions in the office as well as with our operating partners

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline

10+ years industry experience

Knowledge and ability to work with IHS Harmony or KAPPA, Aries and Spotfire

Position requires strong technical skills, ability to work well with others and a desire to make a difference on potentially large impact opportunities

Independent, self-motivated, creative, results oriented, can work to given deadlines

Experience with unconventional reservoirs

Ability to effectively use well data and production databases (IHS, HPDI, Access, Drilling Info etc.)

Some Field visits may be required

Office Based in Austin, TX
