TOTAL E&P; Americas, LLC - Exploration Services located in Houston has an immediate opening for a Reservoir Engineer (RE) to join our DRO team (Discovered Resources Opportunities).

In addition to general RE requirements, specifics required are the following:
Specific experience in the Gulf of Mexico; ideally experience (preferably operated) in the producing Wilcox (Jack, St Malo or Julia; to a lesser extent Cascade or Chinook); experience in Perdido, Norphlet, or Miocene Deepwater reservoirs would also be considered a plus.
Expertise and recent experience in running the Eclipse simulation software; construction of the model, development of PVT, well scheduling, etc. Bonus experience would be use of Petrel RE for Eclipse, integration with IPM (GAP, Prosper or other).
Expertise and recent experience in running MBal, GAP, Prosper.
Expertise and recent experience in stochastic (Monte Carlo) evaluations using either Crystal Ball or Geox.
Previous experience in exploration support and business development RE; proven track record of being able to work within a short time frame/tight deadline.
Additional experience in offshore Eastern Canada, would also be a bonus.

Candidate profile

Technical Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in Wilcox/GOM
Minimum Master's degree in Reservoir or Petroleum Engineering
Fluent English, French a plus
