We are searching for a Reservoir Engineer with the skills and passion to join a rapidly growing Exploration and Production (E&P) company. This new business was formed by a group of successful professions in the O&G industry and backed by investors with a proven record of delivering results. Our client is an emerging E&P company focused on underdeveloped Appalachian basin assets. The company is looking to hire a Petroleum Engineer with capable Reservoir and Production experience. This engineer will evaluate the company's acquisitions and will be in charge of the operations of these assets. We are looking for someone with 15+ years of experience with extensive experience in the Appalachian basin conventional reservoirs. As a key member of the leadership team the positon includes equity and will be an integral part in the success of the company.

The Reservoir Engineer is responsible for maximizing value through reservoir studies, economic accountability, and enhanced production recovery methods. This position is a key member of a seasoned collaborative team. As a member of the team the Reservoir Engineer will contribute to asset acquisition, develop economically viable asset plans, forecast oil and gas flow rates and project the number of wells and methods needed to optimize recovery, or recommend well locations and how their maximum efficiency can be achieved.
This role requires reserves evaluation and surveillance, classification and booking. They will work with various contractors and consultants. They will be responsible for initiating and administering contracts for services.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Petroleum Engineering. They will have 15+ years of progressively responsible industry engineering experience with some of that experience in the Appalachian basin conventional reservoirs.
They will have rounded experience in production engineering and working on mature fields. This position requires advanced analytical ability to assess complex plans for drilling.
This role requires a candidate that has effective verbal and written communication skills. They must have strong MS office suite skills including a high level of demonstrated proficiency with Excel. They will have the ability to employ advanced analytical skills and fact based problem solving. They will have strong critical thinking skills.

· Field engineering experience in oil &/or gas operations.
