Job Summary:
The Reservoir Engineer’s responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with Finance and Planning team to develop presentations for senior management, board of directors, and the public market
  • Serve as liaison between Finance and Planning team and other departments within the organization
  • Prepare numerous economic evaluations to assist in planning and budgeting
  • Assist in determining financial impact of potential acquisition opportunities
  • Work with financial analysts to refresh Company’s internal Net Asset Value (NAV) model using the latest engineered models and parameters
  • Monitor and analyze competitor data
  • Advises on operational results from a reservoir engineering standpoint
  • Audits and technical reviews on projects at key milestones

Experience/Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering; petroleum engineering preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct work experience as  a reservoir engineer
  • Demonstrated experience and competencies in team work, project management, and skills related to the E&P lifecycle
  • Direct work experience and proficiency with economic evaluation software (Aries experience beneficial) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely

Education/Experience Preferred:

  • Experience in Access, Excel, ARIES, and IHS
  • Prior work experience and a broad understanding of the E&P business, Permian Basin experience
