Job description Overall responsibility and accountability for reservoir engineering work conducted for a field or area of a field.  
Responsible for field management and production enhancement, workover and drill well identification, optimization of well operation within the framework of constraints and supporting ongoing regulatory compliance.
 
Key responsibilities

Intervention / drilling inventory identification / maturation / approval
Reservoir engineering support to projects
Reservoir simulation (including model builds and history matching)
Well performance reviews
Reserves assessments
Input to Co-Venturer Technical Shareholder Committee meetings
Mentor junior engineers

Experience and qualifications
Engineering Degree and 5+ years dedicated reservoir experience on operated assets
Advanced understanding of economic analysis, reserves determination, and depletion planning
Proficiency in evaluating greenfield opportunities using exploration data
Familiarity with PTA / RTA, material balance, simulation, and nodal analysis software
Familiarity with water / gas flooding sandstones, preference for experience in miscible floods
Expertise with completion design, well stimulation, and artificial lift
Working knowledge of geophysics, petrophysics, stratigraphy, and structural geology 
Deep understanding of fundamental physics / thermodynamics and demonstrated application
Experience with high level programming languages (beyond Matlab, VBA)
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and integrate results into technical work

Eligibility to work in Canada
