Development and Production Norway (DPN) is an operator and partner on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS); responsible for managing the NCS resources in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner; to create value for our owners, suppliers and the people of Norway. Company has today a solid position on the NCS. We have fields of all sizes, from giants such as Troll, Statfjord and Gullfaks, to small fast-track projects tied to existing infrastructure. Company¿s ambition is to ensure at least 60% recovery from the NCS. Our products are market and sold on the global market, and our production has made Norway one of the world¿s leading oil and gas exporters. Our top priority is safe, efficient and sustainable operation to pursue our long-term profitable production from the NCS. The Gullfaks field produces per today over 10000 Sm³/d oil and exports around 18 MSm³/d gas through 3 platforms and an impressive network of subsea templates. Gullfaks satellites is developed via subsea templates tied back to the Gullfaks platforms. It is an exciting place to work as it is made up of various structures and displays a variety of reservoirs and fluids. The Gullfaks license has recently acquired a new Cat J rig and has plans reaching out beyond 2020. The focus for this role will therefore be on well planning (development and exploration). Roles and ResponsibilitesWell planning as part of a team Project coordination (well planning, modelling etc.) Manage subsurface uncertainty Work effectively in a multi-discipline team environment with Reservoir technology, Geology, Geophysics, Production, Drilling, Facilities and other Engineering disciplines Follow Company's Governing Documents in daily work
QualificationsExperience with well planning and well execution Experience with reservoir modeling Expertise in use of Eclipse and other relevant reservoir- and production engineering software Understanding of risk and uncertainty analysis Project coordinator experience Analytical skills and cross-disciplinary understanding Good collaboration skills Focus on timely deliveries with right quality Share knowledge and experience with others Creative, flexible and pro-active Ability to live by our safety and security expectations
