PGNIG Upstream Norway AS
Vestre Svanholmen 4
PGNiG Upstream Norway (PUN) is an integrated exploration and production company established in Norway in 2007. PUN is a subsidiary of the Polish Oil and Gas Company, PGNiG SA. PGNiG SA is the largest Polish Oil and Gas Company with more than 25000 employees globally and a long and prestigious history. PGNiG SA's objective for PUN is to secure stable gas and oil supplies for the PGNiG Group. PUN will achieve this through a long term exploration and production strategy for the NCS where high involvement in exploration and business development activities are defined as key success factors. The Company was pre-qualified as operator in 2010 and currently operates two licenses where we aim to pass decisions to drill in 2018 and 2019.
PGNiG Upstream Norway's main assets in Norway are the Skarv, Gina Krog, Vilje, Morvin and Vale producing fields, the Ærfugl and Skogul projects and the Fogelberg development asset. The Skarv and Vilje fields and the Ærfugl and the Skogul projects are operated by AkerBP, the Gina Krog and Morvin fields are operated by Equinor and the Vale field is operated by Spirit Energy. These assets provide a stable basis for our strategic plan to further expand our presence on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

PUN's Reservoir Engineers provide a significant and important contribution to our Upstream business. The work require untraditional thinking and excellent technical knowledge because the work involves the conversion of petrophysical, geological and geophysical data into reservoir models. By developing sustainable plans, estimating oil and gas production rates and recommending placement of exploration, appraisal and development wells for highest possible value generation, your direct contribution will affect how exploration, appraisal and project strategies are formulated to ensure safe and robust developments of our assets. In PUN our reservoir engineers work in multi-disciplined teams in order to develop new groundbreaking energy solutions that will contribute towards solving the future energy challenge.
