Description

We are currently recruiting for a Reservoir Engineer to our office in Stavanger, Norway. As a Reservoir Engineer you will work in the Operations Department, which is responsible for safe and optimized production of the Balder, Ringhorne and Goliat Fields. Main project is currently the redevelopment of the Balder area, with more than 20 new wells and a redeployment of the Jotun FPSO. Duration: Permanent Application deadline: 24.04.2019 Tasks and responsibilities:
Collect, analyze and utilize available data to create a model that generates production profiles, functional requirements, and reserve estimates
Elaborate management plans on how to develop and produce from a reservoir
Maximize recoverable reserves by seeking infill targets and best options
Report on remaining reserves based on maturity and uncertainty
Dimensioning of wells, well configurations and process design capacities pertaining to all phases of field development and operations
Cross-departmental advisory on reservoir related topics
Education and experience:
M.Sc. in reservoir engineering or equivalent
Minimum 0-4 years' experience within the industry
Experience from an E&P; company is an advantage
Oral and written English (Required)
Oral and written Norwegian (Preferably)

Very good understanding of reservoir engineering
Ability to deliver within limited time frames
A team-player, but also self-driven
Having a business mindset is an advantage
The ability to work in a broad multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
Good collaboration and communication skills are important
