Job Summary: Possess experience and skills listed to provide vision, leadership, and engineering support to achieve or exceed corporate goals and maximize shareholder value. Ability to work individually as well as in a multi-disciplined team is critical. Candidates should be proficient in all areas of Reservoir Engineering including reservoir characterization, performance analysis, risk analysis, well test, analysis, material balance, fluid properties, volumetric reserve estimation, well and project economics.Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerforms reserve and economic evaluations of drilling, recompletion, workover and acquisition opportunities and make recommendations to management.Prepares annual drilling plan and capital budget for approval by senior company leadership.Performs semi-annually SEC reserve evaluation of assigned assets.Develops exhibits and provides expert testimony at regulatory hearings in support corporate development projects.Develops and maintain type curves with economics for assets within assigned area of responsibility.Analyzes production performance resulting from various completion techniques and make recommendations which will optimize return on investment.Evaluates and makes recommendations on potential acquisitions and divestituresDetermine optimal well density for multi-well units which will maximize well performance and recovery.Provide reservoir support to optimize capital investments for gathering lines, infrastructure and facilities design.Mentoring of less experienced and inexperienced individuals is required.SkillsOutstanding verbal, written and presentation skills; Candidate will be presenting to company senior leadershipProficient computer and data analysis skillsOperations experience a plusProven team playerQualificationsBachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline5+ years of recent, relevant industry experience; Unconventional experience preferredGood working knowledge of industry economic software required (Aries preferred)Experience in advanced decline curve analysis (IHS Harmony preferred) to forecast well performance and estimated reserves.Knowledge of SEC reserve reporting guidelines and able to quantify PUD, POSS, and PROB reservesAbility to manage multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlinesAbility to proficiently utilize technical and administrative personnel resourcesJob Type: Full-timeExperience:recent, relevant industry: 5 years (Preferred)Education:Bachelor's (Required)
