Project assignment period: August 2018 to December 2019
Professional job focused on reservoir management, the asset and more specifically the segment re-development project.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform reservoir engineering evaluations of operated fields and non-operated as required
Advise in reservoir modelling and simulation
Contribute to external RNB production forecasts
Contribute to the BOR process
Help maintain well models (Prosper) if required
Help with short term production forecast for operated fields as required
Support production reporting as required
Implement work plan and to liaise with others as necessary to meet specific objectives
Projects may include more disciplines and where there is a requirement for coordination with associated functions
Support Company sub-surface strategies, objectives, policies, business rules & methods
Internal and External Interfaces
Coordinate together with other staff within specialist area of expertise to ensure outputs are produced as efficiently as possible within the project.
With Asset teams
With Reservoir Management teams: contribute to studies on other areas according to prioritization, share experience and knowledge.
With Technical Authorities: ensure implementation of good practices
With Partners and local authorities: contribute to discussions and presentations to partners if required
Formal qualifications, skills and experience requirements
Higher university degree. In special cases relevant work experience may compensate for limited formal education.
Typically a minimum of 10-15 years' experience from the Oil & Gas industry, and knowledge of the E&P business.
Proven ability to analyze, understand and articulate complex technical problems and to develop innovative high value solutions.
Requires highly developed communication skills required to persuade and influence to achieve goals.
