GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe primary responsibility of the reservoir engineer (RE) is to provide assistance to the Drilling, Completion and Production Manager with well evaluation, production forecasting and economics evaluations. In addition to these duties, the RE will also provide support to several subsurface teams in various reservoir studies. The RE will also participate in training, policy development and implementation, and strategic planning for reserve and resource oversight and validation activities.**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include and are not limited to the following: Update and maintain the reserve database.Participation in reservoir characterization studies, reserves estimation and surveillance plan preparation.Provide support to production engineers and several subsurface teams.Reservoir simulation & production forecast.Advanced reservoir data analysis.More details will be provided during the interview.WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 2-5 years of experience is required with a minimum of 2 years as a Reservoir Engineer. Experience with unconventional reservoirs is preferred.Experience with GIS mapping (ESRI, QGIS) is a plusProficiency with Aries, Spotfire, Excel, PowerPoint and some reservoir simulation programs.Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills. Above average verbal and written skills in English.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSMaster’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field is required.Job Type: Full-time
