Our client, an American oil and gas multinational company, is seeking a Reservoir Engineer/ Advisor III to work on a short-term contract within their facilities located on Spring, TX.The main function of this Advisor is to provide guidance to support the Reservoir Leadership Team in achieving desired performance objectives; Support / Advise Reservoir Leadership Team to aid in maintaining high technical standards; Develop plans / programs as required by the Reservoir Management team and guide / support reservoir engineers to establish and implement plans that meet reservoir engineering requirements.Responsibilities: Develop project-specific strategies with the Project Team to address identified risks and challengesSupport risk assessments and studies as defined in the Project Risk Management Plan, and ensure results are addressed as relevant field work is executedSupport uncertainty analysis studies and value of information assessments for data acquisition plansShare safety-related Lessons Learned across project(s) and within the companyMay facilitate Reservoir Team meetingsMay be assigned other services / studies by the Reservoir Leadership TeamMaintains a high degree of ethical conductAbility to work in environment with changing prioritiesDevelop / deliver technical presentationsProvide regulatory compliance support as requiredRequired Qualifications: Must have a BS degree or superiorMust have at least 20 years of experience in Reservoir Engineering positions in Oil & Gas IndustryMust have exceptional knowledge of reservoir engineering fundamentals and technical skillsMust have experienced in building, running and evaluating dynamic models to evaluate various technical issuesMust have knowledge of how to conduct reservoir simulation studies to address required issue in a timely and efficient mannerMust have the capability to identify issues and solutions and conduct reservoir evaluations independentlyMust have a working knowledge of reservoir management practices, processes, and expectations.Must have a willingness to travel / live away from home for extended time periodsMust be proficient in use of computers and programs such as Microsoft OfficeJob Type: Part-timeRequired education:Bachelor'sRequired experience:Reservoir Engineering: 10 yearsOil and Gas: 10 years
