Job Summary
The Reservoir Engineering position will assist the engineering and operations teams with planning, scheduling, cost estimating, tracking, forecasting, and assessment of ongoing resource play projects. The reservoir engineer will participate in development and planning of drill projects, acquisitions, budgeting, and auditing processes as a member of a cross functional team.

Major Responsibilities
Review and monitor reserve assessments for horizontal wells.
Generate forecasts for oil & gas wells as well as water production.
Review and monitor well AFE's.
Assist with reservoir studies, resource model & development planning, land acquisition & divestitures.
Conduct economic evaluations for new drills and new assets.
Assist with work programs, schedules, budgets.
Gather, classify, and evaluate offset well data for completion effectiveness, type curves, and reservoir understanding.
Participate and interact with geologic, operational, facility, and land team members with the objective of efficiently executing active development projects.
Support production & optimization efforts.
Evaluate well performance, recommend artificial lift options.
Support audit & banking data requests.

Education & Experience
Required B.S. Degree in Petroleum Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited university.
Required 2 – 5 years of reservoir engineering experience in unconventional horizontal resource plays at an onshore USA oil & gas operator.
Experience preferred in Permian or Eagle Ford Shale Plays.
Proficient level of skill in IHS Harmony, ARIES, IHS-Enerdeq, and Microsoft Office Products.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; adaptable to changing priorities and directions.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplined cross functional team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
