Contribute actively to all Reservoir studies, reservoir model building and updates required to evaluate reserves / resources and production profiles to support investment decisions for offshore assets (OBO). Work in close collaboration with HQ / Technical Center to make sure that these Reserves and Resources are validated. Contribute to production monitoring, production forecast (Budget, Long term Plan and Reserves exercise. Contribute to the conversation with the Operator for the definitions of work programs on the different assets (Reservoir studies, WO, Light well intervention, Development wells).
Evaluate Operator’s reservoir data acquisitions and appraisal programs required to characterize and predict reservoir behavior, providing challenge where needed. Validate reservoir data and ensure validity of their interpretation by applying elementary and advanced reservoir engineering techniques. Ensure the compilation of all reservoir data acquired by the operator into TEP-USA databases.
Contribute to production monitoring, production forecast and Reserves exercise.
Conduct and guarantee the quality of dynamic data synthesis.
Contribute to the creation of reservoir models, and perform reservoir simulations as required. Identify the main uncertainties and assess their impact on development schemes and production profiles.
Propose actions and engage the operator for optimizing production and propose work to enhance recovery.
Education: BS or MS in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline
Experience: 10years industry experience as a reservoir Engineer
Skills: In-depth knowledge of all reservoir engineering sub-disciplines including reservoir simulation, and additional knowledge of other disciplines (geophysics, geology, drilling/completions and field ops). Good inter-personal skills, including oral and written communication, and a proven record of technical synthesis
