Role synopsis
·Provide reservoir engineering support within the corporate reserves team with an emphasis on production forecasting and reserves management in ARIES. ·Under supervision, contribute to technical projects including reservoir simulation, diagnostics, RTA, PTA, data analytics, predictive modelling and project economic evaluations.Technical work will focus on supporting reserves and adding value to the development business units.·Liaise with multidisciplinary engineers and geoscientists in development business units to synchronize ongoing asset development and reserves reporting.·Assist in the reconciliation of reserves with third-party assessors and auditors.·Other duties as assigned.
Key accountabilities
· Strong proficiency in empirical production forecasting and portfolio management in ARIES is required.· Familiarity with advanced reservoir engineering concepts including as reservoir simulation, rate transient analysis, material balance, trending methods, and statistical techniques.· Interest in modelling the underlying relationships between subsurface indicators, completion techniques, production results and full lifecycle economics.
Essential Education
Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline
Essential experience and job requirements
2-5 years of recent experience in reservoir engineering; Unconventional experience strongly preferredPre-employment background and drug test.

Desirable criteria & qualifications
Knowledge of SEC reserve reporting guidelines is preferred.Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills are a must.Proficient computer and data analysis skills (MS office suite).Ability to manage multiple projects while efficiently prioritizing work to meet deadlines.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
