Job Role Summary
 
We are looking for experienced engineers with an emphasis on subsurface analysis and data management to provide reservoir engineering support across ExxonMobil’s global portfolio.
 
Responsibilities:

Monitor production data and provide insights and recommendations based on analysis
Analyze well and field data to establish trends, recognize deviations, and identify data quality issues
Generate plots and reports to communicate field performance
Identify new opportunities for improved production
Collaborate with engineers and operations personnel on global asset teams

 
Requirements: 

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree from a recognized university in petroleum or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.0 and above
Two to six years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas production industry
Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical operating parameters through data and trend analysis
Experience in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of well performance and reservoir management
Experience in reservoir surveillance, analysis, and report writing
Knowledge of basic reservoir engineering concepts including:

Key reservoir / fluid characterization properties such as porosity, permeability, saturation, wettability, capillary pressure, and PVT
Basic well design and completion / stimulation technologies
Depletion planning and resource migration for primary, secondary and enhanced recovery mechanisms
Well testing and production allocation principles
Analytical performance prediction including decline curve analysis and material balance calculations
Pressure transient analysis

Experience in programming languages will be an advantage
Experience working in Tableau is preferred
Experience with Engineering Applications such as IPM, Eclipse, and Ecrin(Saphir) will be an advantage
Able to work shift hours
