Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Reservoir Engineer, based in AberdeenResponsibilities will include:Develop a reservoir management strategy for each field to maximise production and optimise the economic recoveryWork with the Production Engineer to develop a cost effective monitoring strategy to verify the integrity of the reservoir management strategyBuild and maintain appropriate reservoir models incorporating geoscience interpretations of static reservoir propertiesIdentify options to increase production and optimise recoveryAs part of a multidisciplinary subsurface team, evaluate the incremental production and reserves for each opportunityDescribe the key risks and quantify the uncertaintiesMaintain a ranked inventory of development opportunities for the fieldIdentify and develop study and monitoring programmes to improve understanding and reduce the uncertainty and risks associated with the development optionsIn conjunction with other function groups prepare a business case describing the opportunity, detailing the benefits, costs and risksDevelop Life of Field production profiles and maintain auditable booked reserves estimates and reserves reportsProvide input to the business planning processesWrite concise reports for all studies and maintain comprehensive, accessible, up-to-date records of input and interpreted dataQualificationsEngineering or Geoscience degree equivalentSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in reservoir engineering with Oil & Gas operating companiesUKCS experienceContract positionIf you feel that you are well suited to the above opportunity and would like to find out more then please contact Orion Group for more information or apply by forwarding your current CV quoting reference 919358 Our role in supporting diversity and inclusionAs an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
