Reservoir Engineer - Role Overview
The reservoir engineer will provide reservoir engineering support to a wide range of opportunities from exploration to development and production to increase the profitability of the business whilst remaining committed to treating customers fairly.

Reservoir Engineer – Role Accountabilities
Monitoring production and injection performance on existing fields to optimise production and maximise recovery
Performing well test analysis
Performing reservoir simulation modelling/studies and generating production forecasts supervised via a mentor
Reserves reporting
Technical input/support to new field development planning
Execution of technical programmes in conjunction with drilling/well operations and geoscience teams.
Technical input to appraisal and field development programmes
Reports to a team leader, works with geologists/ geophysicists / petroleum engineers, liaises with drilling & production ops departments, may be expected to present to 3rd parties, partners, OGA

Reservoir Engineer – Role Accountabilities
Engineering Bachelors degree & MSc Pet Engineering
Understanding of fluid dynamic behaviour
Understanding of reservoir drive mechanisms an advantage
Basic understanding of dynamic modelling packages (preferably Petrel-RE/Eclipse/GAP-Mbal
Excel, Powerpoint, word skilled user
Strong communication / presentation/ writing skills
Highly effective communication/presentation/report-writing skills
Self -starter/Highly motivated/Well organised
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
