The Reservoir Engineer II/III will evaluate and develop strategy for area drilling programs and field optimization (maximize value and quantify reserve recovery), as well as provide technical basis to support field development planning and reserves justification. Additionally, this role will track well performance versus expectations, identify variances and recommend strategies for resolution.
Using rate transient analysis, numerical modeling, and similar technical expertise, develop production forecasts and type-curve estimates for unconventional reservoirs
Through well performance analysis evaluate hydraulic fracture effectiveness
Provide guidance on optimal field development including, but not limited to, well spacing and completion design
Generate and track performance metrics for management KPIs
Develop extensive economic analysis of past and current drilling and completions programs. Conduct economic evaluations at both well and asset levels
Determine procedures and design for pressure build-up and leak-off testing, and other special projects, to help determine correlations between geologic/drilling/completion/production data
Deliver technical and risk analysis for well proposals, lease acquisition, and A&D; opportunities.
