Reservoir Engineer needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate for this position will have a bachelor's degree and 10-20 years of experience; including multiple years supporting Eagle Ford Shale assets in addition to other unconventional assets. Other qualifications include, proven track record of performance, solid reservoir engineering skillset (volumetrics, decline curve, log analysis, and RTA/PTA analysis), expert level economic preparation and analysis, and strong analytical skills including the use of OFM, Enersight, Fekete, and ARIES packages. Responsibilities include business and reservoir management and surveillance, working closely with engineering staff to ensure efficient asset management, reservoir/ resource management, well optimization and performance, and support of operations activities. This position will surveil production and pressure data to identify performance trends, and recommend recovery plans in coordination with operations and engineering staff. Additionally, this position will perform various business and commercial evaluations and provide surveillance of competitor activities.
