This position is part of CONE’s Coordination Team and will work closely with the finance to review and develop well / field
projections and project economic assumptions using sound engineering and analytical principles. The candidate for this
position should be an experienced engineer with the ability to understand and evaluate cross functional problems.

Target Responsibilities

Review, evaluate, or develop production forecasts, field decline curves and projections of natural gas assets
Audit third party Utica and Marcellus production forecasts and generate an objective assessment of accuracy or potential
performance deviations
Communication of production forecasting variables and accuracy to CONE management
Support financial projects through communication of reservoir sensitivities to gathering cash flows and project economics
Create projections and support economic analysis of investment opportunities
Performing Rate Transient Analysis (RTA) and Nodal Analysis
Perform Decline Curve Analysis (DCA) and run economic risk analyses. This will also include type curve generation and well
spacing analysis
Conduct stochastic analysis, correlation research, as well as history matching exorcises
Advance best practices and procedures as they relate to operations, modeling, and maximizing economic value of CONE

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, economics or other closely related technical disciplines required
3 plus years’ experience in planning/engineering or forecasting
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Proven effective communication skills and ability to work with other departments
Proven ability to learn in a relatively fast and demanding environment

Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of midstream operations
Understanding of production forecasting, decline curves and volumetrics
Aries software experience
Experience in energy industry
Computer skills (data mining, strong excel background, etc.).
