Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in reserves/resources evaluations
  • Experience with acquisitions and divestitures is preferred
  • Ability to clearly advise clients on technical matters, often at a senior level
  • Project management skills
  • University degree in engineering and an active member of APEGA and other relevant associations
  • Perform global studies (water injection/production requirements and facilities handling) and use reservoir simulation models to optimize field development.
  • Update/rebuild reservoir simulation models to characterize GEA fields; integrate learnings from previous reservoir studies

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team to conduct/manage economic evaluations of properties/companies under industry standard reserves reporting guidelines such as NI 51-101 and SEC.This may include acquisitions, divestments, and year-end evaluation reports
  • Work with a team to conduct/manage special studies which may include field development studies and due diligence reports
  • Able to work within or lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, geoscientists, and support staff
  • Mentor and coach team members on an ongoing basis
  • Simulation software Eclipse & CMG and integrated Petrel workflow.
