Description

Serves as subject matter expert for dynamic modeling of reservoir performance for deepwater clastic reservoirs
Provides dynamic reservoir simulation for optimizing field development
Works closely with subsurface geoscience and petrophysical teams to build dynamic model from static model inputs
Experienced with incorporating PVT and geomechanical properties
Experienced in handling uncertainty and risk analysis of large deepwater reservoirs
Provides detailed PTA evaluations for calibrating reservoir model inputs
Works closely with EMED asset teams to incorporate lessons learned from analog fields
Works with international partners and host government to gain alignment on proposed well locations, well timing, recompletions and data acquisition
Provides estimates of projected ultimate recovery for EMED exploration and exploitation projects
Provides reservoir engineering support to other EMED Noble Energy technical staff and departments
Provides technical guidance, mentorship and assistance to other company disciplines
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and a minimum of 10 fifteen (15-20 yrs preferred) years experience in reservoir engineering
Offshore deepwater RE experience required
Min 10 years experience in providing RE asset support for DW field developments
Min 10 years experience in reservoir simulation for planning and optimizing development DW oil & gas fields
Required experience with working international oil & gas field developments
Expert in Eclipse and Petrel RE software
Experience working with international partners and or host governmentsÂ
Proficient in both deterministic and probabilistic reserve calculations
Extensive knowledge of geological concepts, geophysics, and mapping techniques
Expert understanding of reserve estimation methods, and reservoir drive mechanisms
Ability to organize, prioritize and make decisions under time restrictions
